One player thinks of a word with up to 10 letters and writes it down on the top sheet of paper. The other player must then attempt to "free" the hangman by making strategic guesses about which letters the word contains. Each time they make a wrong guess, one of the hangman’s bones is crossed out – until the player identifies the word or there are no bones remaining. For each word, the other player has up to ten attempts to reveal the correct answer.
